Infants thru 23 month olds will receive the best of care in age-appropriate settings in our Nursery. Ministry to this age consists of creating a safe, peaceful, welcoming environment for little ones. Our ministry team strives to maintain this environment by facilitating a smooth transition from and back to parents at check-in and check-out, through praise and worship music, loving and playing with little ones as they care for them and interact with them, comforting those who feel unsettled, and talking with them about Biblical themes that focus on God's love. Your little one will begin to learn about the greatness of God and His love as it is reflected through those who care for them.

In The Soundstage we want to do more than simply tell a Bible story…we want to make the Bible come alive for our young students. We want them to experience the Bible teaching in such a way that the Biblical truths stay with them and make a lasting impact on their lives every day of the week.  We may use simple object lessons to help them understand a key Bible Point, wild and wiggly activities to get them moving, crafts to serve as a visual reminder of what we learned and worship music to express our love to God. We place great value on developing strong connections between our ministry team and each of the children. We believe that by modeling Christ in this way, we can help them realize the wonders of a real and personal relationship with Jesus.

Here's what we are learning this month.

Kids Rock! But, you knew that, didn’t you? We are surrounded by rockin’ kids all the time and we’re excited to celebrate kids with a rocking good time this summer. Throughout the summer, our young students will be introduced to people in the Bible who did amazing things while they were still kids. They rocked because they did what God wanted them to do, and our youngsters can do that too.

July, Daniel, Miriam, Josiah, a young boy and his lunch and Timothy will continue to help our young friends learn that they can do what God wants them to do.

All summer long we’re going to celebrate that God made each one of us to do good works. With our “Do Good Challenge” we’re encouraging our parents to recognize when your young student has done something “good” and have them record it on a special chart that your child will bring home.  Our entire Soundstage team is praying that you and your family have moments filled with wonder as we partner together with you to give your youngster a “first look” at the God who loves them, made them and wants to be their friend forever.
