Experience - Middle School (Gr. 5-8) ~ Join us for games, snack and the series “Overcoming Temptations.” We’ll be looking at what temptations are (character & spiritual tests that are part of life).  Everyone has temptations, but God is faithful and will always help us overcome them.  We do not have the strength to resist temptations by ourselves.  God gives us His power & strength to resist and overcome temptations as we trust Him.  We'll look at how to resist temptations from the devil, and that sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is just be still ~ just stand firm on the Word & promises of God  And in so doing, you will wear the devil out, and he will flee from you.  We will also learn that influence is a powerful thing.  Good influence is awesome, but negative influence can be detrimental on so many levels.  Influence comes from everything around us ~ our family, friends, social media, what we listen to/watch on radio & tv, etc.  It's critical that we allow God's Word to shape our lives and be the compass that directs us!

Young Families Small Group ~ Resumes  Nov. 1st.  Caleb & Kylie Payne, along with their 2 young children, want to start a new small group for families with young kids.  We'll begin "Life on Mission," and then dive into more things that parents with young kids will find useful.  Meeting in Classroom #206.

October 22 ~ Team Training and Roll Play at 1:00 pm (Twp)

Life can be tough and sometimes we can't handle it alone ~ and God never intended for us to tackle life's difficulties by ourselves.  This group's purpose is to provide support to people who are struggling with various compulsive issues that rob them of the joy & peace that God has intended.  The group uses a Christian perspective on the 12 Step program.  Please contact Barb Levine at barbohio@gmail.com for more info, or click here.  We meet on Wednesday's at 6:45 pm at the Twp.  (Classroom #209)
