At Community Kids our primary objective is to treat each child as a unique individual, created and designed by God for a specific purpose and having gifts and talents that they will be able to contribute to society. We understand that children learn and grow through play and active interactions within their environment including their families, peers, caregivers, materials, and the world around them. We also believe that structured curriculum is important and offer teacher-facilitated educational activities to promote growth in learning that is centered around each child’s individual developmental stage. Independently selected activities are also vital for a child’s progress; therefore time is dedicated each day for these types of experiences. Children learn and grow at different speeds and learning is sequential and interconnected between different areas of development.
We feel it is our purpose and ministry to show the love of Jesus to our children, families, and staff through prayer, investment of time and resources, and encouragement. We believe in building strong relationships and understand their impact on a person’s sense of value and place in this world. Because of that, it is our goal to provide our families and children with the highest quality childcare in addition to fostering positive social interactions and relationships so that each child may grow to reach their God-given purpose and potential.
